This magnifier doesn't have just one lens, but three! They're riveted to a black case where they're store when not in use. From what I can tell, it seems that it magnifies 1x, 2x and 3x depending on how many lenses you stack on each other. There is no loop for stringing on these. Measures about 7/8" x 5/8" x 3/8" when closed and about 1-3/8" in length when open. Made in Hong Kong.
